Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of nebulized inhalation of acetylcysteine solution combined with tiotropium bromide on immune function and levels of TIMP-1, MMP-9 and COX-2 in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods A total of 70 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease admitted from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into control group(35 cases, conventional treatment+ tiotropium bromide) and observation group(35 cases, conventional treatment + tiotropium bromide + acetylcysteine). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, CD3+and CD4+in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while CD8+in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of TIMP-1, MMP-9 and COX-2 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Nebulized inhalation of acetylcysteine solution combined with tiotropium bromide in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease can further improve the immune function and lung function of patients, and reduce the levels of TIMP-1, MMP-9 and COX-2, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
