| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the effects of modified Xuanbai Chengqi decoction on TCM syndrome integral and inflammatory factors levels in patients with severe pneumonia(phlegm-heat obstructing lung type).Methods A total of 86 patients with severe pneumonia(phlegm-heat obstructing lung type)admitted in our hospital were divided into control group(43 cases,conventional western medicine)and observation group(43 cases,conventional western medicine+modified Xuanbai Chengqi decoction)according to different medication regimens.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of cough,chest tightness and chest pain,asthma,the levels of serum TNF-αand IL-6,the EVLWI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the CI was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The modified Xuanbai Chengqi decoction in the treatment of patients with severe pneumonia(phlegm-heat obstructing lung type)can reduce the inflammatory response,improve hemodynamics,reduce clinical symptoms,and has a significant effect. |
