Clinical effect of fasudil and nimodipine in the treatment of cerebral vasospasm after endovascular interventional embolization of cerebral aneurysm

Objective To analyze the clinical effect of fasudil and nimodipine in the treatment of cerebral vasospasm after endovascular interventional embolization of cerebral aneurysm.Methods A total of 86 patients with cerebral aneurysm were divided into nimodipine group and combined treatment group according to the different treatment methods,with 43 cases in each group.Two groups of patients were treated with endovascular embolization,the nimodipine group received nimodipine treatment during the operation,and the combined treatment group received fasudil and nimodipine combined treatment during the operation.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the combined treatment group was significantly higher than that in the nimodipine group(P<0.05);after treatment,the Barthel index,GCS and mRS scores of the combined treatment group were significantly better than those of the nimodipine group(P<0.05);after treatment,the mean blood flow velocity of MCA and PCA in the combined treatment group were significantly lower than those in the nimodipine group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Fasudil combined with nimodipine in the treatment of cerebral vasospasm after endovascular interventional embolization of cerebral aneurysm has significant effect,it can effectively relieve cerebral vasospasm,reduce the coma degree,and improve the ability of daily life of patients,which is safe and reliable.
