Clinical effect of modified radical mastectomy combined with tamoxifen in the treatment of early breast cancer

Objective To explore the clinical effect of modified radical mastectomy combined with tamoxifen in the treatment of early breast cancer.Methods From October 2018 to October 2019,98 patients with early breast cancer who received surgical treatment in our hospital were selected as the research objects.According to the difference of treatment methods,the patients were divided into study group(49 cases,modified radical mastectomy+tamoxifen)and control group(49 cases,modified radical mastectomy).The clinical efficacy,tumor marker levels,prognosis,postoperative quality of life and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of CEA,CA153 and CA125 in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The cases of recurrence and metastasis in the study group were slightly less than those in the control group,but the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).At 1,3,6 months after operation,the quality of life score in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified radical mastectomy combined with tamoxifen in the treatment of early breast cancer has a significant clinical effect,it can effectively reduce the level of tumor markers of patients,improve prognosis and the quality of life of patients,and reduce the incidence of complications,which has higher clinical application value.
