DiagnosticValue of IgG and IgM Antibody Detection in Novel Coronavirus Infection

Objective:Investigate the clinical diagnostic value of 2019 Novel Coronavirus(2019-nCoV)immunoglobulin G(IgG)and immunoglobulin M(IgM)antibody qualitativedetection.Methods:141 physical examiners and 141 cases of confirmed patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia infection admitted to Linyi people’s hospital of Shandong Provincefrom January 3,2020 toMarch19,2020 were taken as the research objects.Colloidal gold immunochromatography was used to detect 2019-nCoV IgG and IgM antibodies in the serum of the patients.Results:In the 141 confirmed patients,the clinical sensitivity of serum IgG antibody was 87.2%(123/141).The clinical sensitivity of serum IgM antibody was 69.5%(98/141).The clinical sensitivity of the combined detection of serum IgM and IgG antibody was 90.1%(127/141).In the 141 physical examiners,all negative results,the clinical specificity of serum IgG and IgM antibodies was 100%(141/141).Conclusion:The combined detection of serum IgM and IgG antibody can be used as an auxiliary diagnostic method of novel coronavirus infection,and can be used for effective screening of novel coronavirus infection.
