Study Method on Multidimensional Pharmacodynamic Material Basis of Chinese Materia Medica Based on Network Pharmacology and Constituents Knock-out/Knock-in

Holistic evaluation of Chinese materia medica(CMM)quality has always been one of the bottlenecks in the modernization of CMM,and the holistic discovery of pharmacodynamic material basis is a key point to cross this bottleneck.CMM generally exhibits multiple efficacies,and chemical constituent is the material basis for embodying the efficacy of CMM.Therefore,the holistic evaluation of CMM quality can be achieved by simultaneously monitoring the multi-efficacies pharmacodynamic material basis.In the past,the"one for all"single-efficacy research model was commonly used to identify the pharmacodynamic material basis of CMM,which was inconsistent with the characteristics of CMM multiple efficacies,and so the holistic evaluation of CMM quality is difficult to achieve.At present,the different efficacies of the same kind of CMM are reflected by different constituents,which has become the consensus of many scholars.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the investigation of CMM pharmacodynamic material basis based on the concept of different efficacies reflected by different constituents.Namely,study on the multidimensional pharmacodynamics material basis of CMM should be strengthened to promote the holistic evaluation of CMM quality,which could lay a foundation for the modernization of CMM.Based on the characteristics of CMM,this paper proposes a thought to predict and verify the pharmacodynamic material basis of different efficacies of CMM by network pharmacology and constituents knock-out/knock-in technologies,which can reflect the holistic view of CMM.This thought may promote the finding of multidimensional pharmacodynamic material basis of CMM,which can promote the holistic evaluation of CMM quality.
