| Abstract: | Summary In the United States, cervical spine injuries are routinely immobilized with the halo apparatus. In Europe, this device is seldom used except in the treatment of spinal deviations. Based on studies of five cases the authors discuss the indications for use of the halo device in cervical spine injuries. |
