Magnetic resonance imaging of subacute myelopathy due to cobalamin deficiency |

| Abstract: | A 77-year-old woman presented with rapidly ascending sensory ataxia. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed extensive involvement of the dorsal columns of the spinal cord. Hematological data were normal despite severe cobalamin deficiency. The contribution of magnetic resonance imaging in subacute degeneration of the spinal cord is discussed. |
