Abstract:Objective To research the status of social supports of the rural left-behind children in junior middle school,and provide reference for related mental health education.Methods A total of 670 children randomly selected from 6 county schools were investigated with Social Support Assess Questionnaire.Results ①there were gender differences in support use item(t=2.13,P〈0.05);②there was significant difference in object support item and support use item among the left-behind children with deferent guardian(F=25.26,3.30;P〈0.05);③there was significant difference in subject support item between the left-behind children whose parents had been out less than one year and whose parents had been out over a year(F=3.86,P〈0.05).Conclusion The status of social supports is not optimistic among left-behind children.
