Research on the Relationship between Sex Role and Adaptability of Undergraduates.

Objective To investigate the adaptability of undergraduates of college students on different sex-role.Methods A total of 220 college students were tested by Sex Rrole Inventory for College Students（CSRI） and College Student Adaptability Inventory（CSAI）.Results The total scores of adaptability in masculine and androgynous were significantly higher than those of other two types,but there was no significant difference between masculine and androgynous,undifferentiated and feminine（P=0.985,P〈0.05）.The number of undifferentiated sex-role was the largest in the subjects,next came the androgynous,masculine came the last.There was no significant difference between male and female on the adaptabilities with the exception of the livelihood self-management adapatblity（t=-2.06,P〈0.01）.The effect of gender and the cross-correlation between gender and sex-role were indistinctive.Conclusion There are significant differences among different sex-role on the adaptability of undergraduates.
