THE DYNAMIC OBSERVATION ON THE “ZUSANLI” ACUPOINT DURING ACUPUNCTURE ON THE DIFFERENT CHANNEL USING THE K~+ AND CA~(++)ACUPUNTURE ELECTRODES
Abstract:K~+ and Ca~(++) are important ions in the nerve or muscle excitation,and itsmay be important too in the channel conduction and needling reaction.In this paper,a K~+ or Ca~(++) ion sensitive and selective acupuncture electrode is prepared in our laboratory. By this means,the dynamic observation of K~+ or Ca~(+2) in the acupu- ncture point during acupuncture is realized.In these results:(1)The changes of extracellular K~+ ion in“Znsanli”acupoint was increased during needling stage and after acupuncture the K~+ ion was significant decreased,(p<0.01). It showed the delayed effect of acupuncture and the mechanism may be to stimulate the sodiumpotasium pump in the acu(?)oint,which caused the extra- cellular K~+ ion decreased.(2)It showed the similar effect on K~+ ion (see above) during acupuncture the same channel but in different aeupoint (Tiao kou),and no simillar effect showed on K~+ ion during acupuncture the pericardium channel.However,the correlation between acupoint and viscera were showed in all of these experiments.(3) The obvious change of Ca~(+2) ion in different acupoints were showed but not significant and the change is not same as the K~+ ion and the mechanism was further discussed.
