Abstract: | ‘Ageing’ is a popular multidisciplinary semester-length option, taken by undergraduate students in the School of Social Sciences. The discipline contributions come mainly from Geography, Psychology and Social Administration. The emphasis is upon a social sciences education about ageing rather than the provision of vocational training. The topic particularly attracts women and older students who generally achieve good results. |
