Progress in Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Pelvic Pain

Chronic pelvic pain is a common clinical syndrome with complex risk factors,involving multi- ple disciplines such as gynecology, urology, gastroenterology, neurology, and surgery. It is vulnerable to inter- ference of psychological factors, mediation, surgery and pelvic floor rehabilitation are the major treatments, though there is no affirmative treatment solution so far,which brought great challenges to the clinician＇s diag- nosis and treatment. With the year-on-year increase of the incidence, chronic pelvic pain has becomle a public health concern. Therefore, clear diagnosis and effective treatment are of great significance to improve the patient＇s quality of life, which are urgent need of the patients.
