The History,Current Situation and Future of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry

Here is to make a review of the literature which expounded the history and current situation of psychiatric consultation in general hospitals at home and abroad in recent years. Meanwhile, the factors that affect the consultation haison psychiatry（CLP） works are explored. It＇s found that CLP works is related to patients themselves, consultation doctors, doctors who are invited to the consultation, disease characters of the patients, the current social system and institution, and hospital management models. In addition, some sugges- tions on the future of consultation liaison psychiatry are also put forward, such as enhancing the ability of doc- tors,improving the condition of the patient assessment methods, establishing CLP team, and introducing the guidelines for consultation.
