Clinical Research of Endoscopic Nasal Septum Epithesis Surgery

Objective To evaluate the long-term clinical effect of endoscopic nasal septum epithesis.Methods All the 301 cases of nasal septum lean patients were divided into two groups.The patients in Group A(121 cases) were treated with endoscope and those in group B were operated by an conventional surgery.The surgery effects were followed at 3 months after surgery.Results Symptoms of the two group patients had been obviously improved.There was no significant difference in the effect between the two surgery methods and there was less surgical complication in group A compared with group B.Conclusion With the use of endoscopes facilitates extended approaches,it showed that the surgical damage was less,complication rates were decreased,surgical reconstruction was less time consuming,and the epithesis was more complete due to improved visualization.More and more patients might be like to accept the surgery.
