屎肠球菌与其他临床上重要的革兰阳性菌相比,具有更强的天然耐药性,而且也更易被诱导产生新的耐药性。近年来,屎肠球菌作为一种引起医院感染的重要病原菌已经引起了医学界的广泛关注。屎肠球菌感染率上升的主要原因可能与其毒力增强或获得新的毒力基因及获得耐药性有关,因此研究其耐药基因和毒力基因,发现屎肠球菌感染的耐药机制和发病机制,是控制屎肠球菌感染最有效的方法。

Enterococcus faecium have stronger natural bacterical drug resistance than other clinical G~ bacteria,furthermore it could be to induce new drug resistance easily.Recently,Enterococcus faecium as a important pathogenic bacteria caused nosocomial infections have been extensive payed attention to by medical groups.The reasons which the infection rate of Enterococcus faecium were ascending probably be related with obtaining new virulence factor and obtaining new drug resistance.So the effective ways to control Enterococcus faecium infection would be researching resistance and virulence gene,finding resistance mechanism and pathogenesy of Enterococcus faecium.
