Abstract: | Breech presentation is the most common abnormal fetal position, and vaginal birth of a breech baby has high risks. To ensure the safety of the maternal and infant, obstetrician and midwives should evaluate and communicate with the pregnant women who have a breech baby adequately, select the suitable cases for vaginal delivery and strengthen the monitoring during delivery. This article describes the etiology, indications, contraindications, precautions, and possible risks of breech vaginal deliveries. |
