Abstract: | Synthesis of Some Glycosides of β-Amyrin The pentacyclic triterpenalcohol α-Amyrin is transformed to glycosides. They were produced via their peracetylated derivatives: β-D-glucopyranoside, -α-D-xylopyranoside, -β-D-xylopyranoside, -β-D-lactoside and -β-D-glucopyranoside-uronide. 3′,4′,6′-Tri-o-acetyl-1′,2′-O-(urs-12-en-3β-yl-ortho-acetyl)α-D-glucopyranoside and 3′,4′-Di-o-acetyl′,2′-O-(urs-12-en-3β-yl-ortho-acetyl)α-D-glucopyranoside]-uronide could not be deacetylated because of instability. |
