云南省白内障残疾人现况分析

按WHO的标准,1987年4月,在52219例五类残疾人抽样调查中,白内障残疾人344人,占视力残疾的46.49％,按我省3513万人口统计,约有18万白内障残疾人。本文对白内障残疾人的性别、年龄、地区分布以及致残原因作了初步分析,并对其医疗康复工作的具体方法进行了讨论。

An Investigation on Cataract Maimere in Yunnan Province

In 1987, based on WHO standard, a sampling survey was conducted among 52219 people with one of the five kinds of disablements. 344 of the people had cataract, which made up 46.49% of the visual disacility. There are 180 thousand people suffering from Cataracts in our province whose population is 35 milliom or so according to the census. In our study, the sex, age, distribution of these sufferers and the causes of the cataracts have been generally analysed, and the measures of medical rehabilitation of these people have also been discussed.
