| Abstract: | Two children presented with relapsed acute lymphoblastic leukemia 6 years and 8 years after cessation of maintenance treatment. Relapses this length of time off treatment are unusual, with only 7 previously reported cases. It is often unclear whether the relapse is of the original disease or a second leukemia, and our results in both cases suggest relapse of their primary disease. |
