The Value of Multislice Spiral CT in The Diagnosis of Primary Ovarian Cancer

Objective To evaluate the value of multislice spiral CT(MSCT)in the diagnosis of primary ovarian cancer.Methods 110 cases of ovarian masses were treated,and were examined by MSCT and compared with the pathological results.Results Of the 110 patients,42 cases were benign and 68 cases were malignant;CT diagnosis and pathologic findings consistent Kappa=0.584,P<0.05,the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and Youden index of CT in diagnosis of ovarian malignant tumor were 80.88%,78.57%,85.94%,71.74%and 0.595;The difference in morphology,border,density,enhancement,ascites,invasion and lymph node enlargement of MSCT signs between malignant masses and benign masses were statistically significant(P<0.05);The Kappa value of MSCT preoperative staging and pathological staging was 0.777,P<0.05,and the accuracy rate of preoperative staging of MSCT was 85.50%.Conclusion MSCT has a high diagnostic value in primary ovarian cancer,and can be used as an effective method for the preoperative staging of ovarian cancer.
