Kai1在卵巢上皮性肿瘤中的表达及其意义

目的 :探讨Kai1(KangAi 1)在卵巢上皮性肿瘤中的表达及临床意义。 方法 :采用免疫组织化学S P法 ,检测 10 8例上皮性卵巢肿瘤和 12例正常卵巢中Kai1的表达情况。结果 :Kai1在卵巢上皮性癌、交界性卵巢肿瘤、良性卵巢肿瘤和正常卵巢组织中的阳性表达率分别为 2 6 6 %、71 4 %、73 3%和 83 3% ,在恶性肿瘤中的阳性表达较良性肿瘤明显下降 (P <0 0 5 )。卵巢浆液性囊腺癌较粘液性囊腺癌及子宫内膜样癌Kai1阳性表达率显著下降 (P <0 0 5 ) ,在不同细胞分化等级与临床分期间Kai1表达无明显差异 (P >0 0 5 ) ,但在伴有和不伴有淋巴结转移的卵巢上皮性癌中Kai1的阳性表达率有显著差异 (P <0 0 5 )。结论 :Kai1表达下降可能是上皮性卵巢癌发生、发展中的一个早期事件 ,有望成为预测卵巢癌发生转移及判断患者预后的参考指标。

Expression of metastasis suppressor gene Kai1 in ovarian epithelial tumor and its significance

Purpose:To explore the expression of metastasis suppressor gene Kai1 in ovarian epithelial tumor and its significance.Methods:The expression of Kai1 protein in 108 samples of epithelial ovarian tumors and 12 of normal ovarian tissues was examined by S-P immunohistochemical staining.Results:The positive rates of Kai1 protein expression among malignant,borderline,benign and normal tumors were 26.6%,71.4%,73.3% and 83.3% respectively. The Kai1 protein expression in malignant tumors was obviously less than that in benign ones ( P< 0.05). Serous ovarian cancers showed sharply decreased positive staining rates of Kai1 when compared with other histopathological types ( P< 0.05). The expression of Kai1 protein had no statistical correlation with cell differentiation and clinical stages ( P> 0.05). However,there was significant difference in Kai1 protein expression between samples of ovarian epithelial cancers with and without lymphonode metastasis ( P< 0.05). Conclusions:The decrease of Kai1 protein expression might frequently occur in early stage tumors and the expression of Kai1 protein might be used as a prognostic marker which indicates the metastatic potential of ovarian epithelial cancer.
