| Abstract: | OBJECTIVE To study the peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets changes before and 3 to 6 months after adenotonsillectomy in OSAHS children. METHODS Thirty OSAHS children were randomly recruited. The venous blood samples were taken from the patients 24～48 h before and 3～6 months after adenotonsillectomy. And at the same time, 30 healthy children were selected as control group. RESULTS It was found that the levels of CD4＋ and CD4＋/CD8＋ was lower and the CD8＋ was higher in the pre-operative period of OSAHS children compared with that in control group （P0.05）. There was statistically significant difference between pre- and post-operative levels of CD4＋, CD8＋. The CD4＋, CD25＋ in the pre- and post-operative OSAHS children was higher than that in control group. CONCLUSION The lymphocyte subsets in OSAHS children were significantly changed, and the proportion of lymphocyte subsets returned normal 3～6 months after adenotonsillectomy, |
