Abstract:The author describes a method for the primary, direct closure of wide skin lesions, combining the ldquolazy S,rdquo ldquocrown, rdquo and the ldquoHrdquo-advancement flap techniques. The ldquolazy Srdquo edges of the flaps permit the satisfactory use of adjacent surrounding skin with good aesthetic results, when the flaps alone would otherwise be placed under too much strain.
