Abstract:OBJECTIVE To establish an environmental and convenient method for determination of phenformin hydrochloride.METHODS The potentiometric titration was performed on Mettler Toledo DL53 and Mettler DG113-GC using 20mL glacial acetic acid and 20mL acetic anhydride as solvent.RESULTS The linear range of weight was 0.06~0.14g(r=0.9999,n=5),inter space accuracy was 0.34%,the RSD of stability experiment and repeatability experiment were less than 0.5%.CONCLUSION This method was suitable for the determination of phenformin hydrochloride.
