茎突综合征的诊断和手术治疗

目的:探讨茎突综合征的诊断方法及症状性茎突过长的手术治疗。方法:总结62例病程两个月以上的茎突过长病人的资料,男32例,女30例;年龄36~64岁;病程2个月~6年。结果:经咽部扁桃体触诊及影像学检查后,诊断明确。62例中接受手术治疗的14例,保守治疗48例,手术治疗后症状消失者9例,症状减轻5例,手术治疗有效率100%。结论:茎突综合征的诊断主要依靠临床症状、触诊及影像学检查,对于有症状的茎突过长应以手术治疗为主。

Diagnosis and Surgical Therapy of the Styloid Process Syndrome

Objective:To probe the diagnostic methods in the styloid process syndrome and surgical therapy for the symptomatic long styloid process.Methods:62 patients with styloid process syndrome were retrospectively analyzed.There were 32 males and 30 females who aged between 36 years and 64 years old.The coures of disease ranged from 2 months to 6 years.Results:62 patients with styloid process were diagnosed by palpation in pharyngeal tonsil and imaging examination.14 of 62 patients underwent surgery.After surgery,symptoms disappeared in 9 patients and improved in 5 patients.The total effective rate of surgery was 100%.48 of 62 patients received conservative therapy.Conclusion:The styloid process syndrome is diagnosed according to clinical symptom,palpation and imaging examinations.Surgery should be done for symptomatic long styloid process.
