Abstract:Inflammation, as a defense response of the body to resist harmful stimuli and repair damaged tissues, is involved in the development of many diseases and seriously endangers human life and health. The commonly used anti-inflammatory drugs in clinic have some adverse reactions. It is still an important direction to discover some high-efficiency and low toxicity anti-inflammatory lead compounds. The ocean is a treasure house of various biological resources. Due to the particularity of the marine ecological environment (high pressure, high salt, low oxygen, etc.), many marine organisms produce a large number of natural products with special structures and anti-inflammatory activities during their life, becoming an important source of research and development of new inflammatory drugs. In this paper, about 73 natural products isolated from three categories of marine microorganisms, actinomycetes, fungi and bacteria, were summarized from 2016 to 2021, and their anti-inflammatory activities were discussed to provide reference and inspiration for future research.
Keywords:Marine microorganism   Secondary metabolites   Anti-inflammatory activity
