流行性腮腺炎合并格林-巴利综合征一例16床病理报告

本文报告一例少见的,并经尸体解剖证实为流行性肋腺炎合并格林-巴利综合征的病例。同时对其发生机理作了简要的讨论,病理改变支持本病例之发生为感染后的免疫障碍所致。

CLINICAL AND PATHOLOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS OF A CASE OF PAROTITIS COMPLICATED WITH GUILLAIN-BARRE SYNDROME

One 14-year-old boy suffered fromepidemic paro?tis complicated with Guillain-Barre syndrome and died of breathing fail-ure.The autopsy revealed edema,conges-tion and variou degrees of demyelinationof the spinal nerves.The breaking downof the neuron axis,degeneration,necrosisor infiltration of a large number of lym-hocytes or monocytes in the spinal nerveswere found. Except the olfactory nerves,all the cranial nerves showed the same le-sions as those shown in the spinal nervesdescribed above.There were edema,con-gestion,degeneration or necrosis of theeurons both in the spinal cord or brain.Bilateral parotids were swollen with thecongestion of the interstitial tissue and in-filtration of a small number of lympho-cytes.The virus inclusion bodies were notseen.The pathological changes supportedthat the pathogenesis was due to post-infectious immunological disorders.
