Abstract:Summary In the present study, cyclin I protein expression in 114 invasive human breast cancers was correlated with cell cycle and angiogenesis-related proteins and clinico-pathological data. A strong association was found between cytoplasmic cyclin I staining and VEGF (p = 0.001) as well as the VEGF receptor KDR (p = 0.001), suggesting a link between cyclin I and angiogenesis.
