Strategy and Monitoring Indicators for Drug Cost Control in Hospital

The measures and monitoring indicators for drug cost control in hospital are presented in this paper. According to the concept of mordern health care,the necessity and importance of controlling drug cost were discussed.We consider that both therapeutic effectiveness and economics should be considered simultaneously in clinical drug use and the evaluation of drug use should be based on principle of pharmacoeconomics to acquire the best therapeutic effectiveness with minimal cost.
