心电图变化对判定二尖瓣狭窄手术疗效的价值

THE VALUE OF ECG CHANGES IN EVALUATING OPERATIVE MANAGEMENT OF MITRAL STENOSIS

The authers report the ECG changes and status of heart function before and after operative management of rheumatic mitral stenosis in 52 cases (25, male; 27, female). The age of the patients varied from 14 to 44 yeras. The types of valvular disease were mitral stenosis (41 cases),mitral stenosis with mild mitral regurgitation(10 cases), and mitral stenosis with mild aortic regurgitation(1 case). After opeartive management, the status of heart function improved greatly, right-axis deviation diminished, notching and widening of the P-wave and negative or biphasie P-wave in leads V_1 and V_2 lost partly, voltage of R-wave in leads V_1 reduced and in leads V_5 increased. These changes are of value in evaluating operative management effect of mitral stenosis and may be used as the physician's reference in follow-up. Mechanism of voltage changes of QRS in the precordial leads is discussed in detail.
