| Abstract: | This paper reported the clinical characteristics of 46 cases with leptospirosis nervotussystem complications.The characteristics of the 36 patients with brain injury were centric paraly-sis or convulsions.Lower limbs paralysis,tendon hyperreflexia,incontinence of faeces and urineoccured in 6 patients with spinal cord injury.Facial nerve paralysis was the main manifestation in14 patients with cranial nerves injury. It suggested that leptospirosis nervous system complicationwas caused by the chronic infection of leptospira or leptospira L-forms and the postinfection im-munity. |
