Abstract: | Ninety-eight consecutive patients with clinically resolved prior stroke were evaluated with complete cerebral angiography (CCA) in a prospective protocol. CCA showed the cause in 85 per cent, demonstrated significant intracranial pathology in 22 per cent, and directed medical (20%), surgical (33%), or nonspecific therapy based on a clear delineation of intracranial and carotid bifurcation anatomy and pathology. |
