Abstract:OBJECTIVE A near-infrared quantitative method was developed for rapid determination of ascorbic acid in the VC Yinqiao pills.METHODS The near-infrared diffuse reflectance spectra of the samples was collected to establish a relative model between the spectra data and the ascorbic acid contents in VC Yinqiao pills by partial least squares regression,and then the samples were determined using the model.RESULTS For the quantitative model of ascorbic acid content,731 batches of VC Yinqiao pills were used as calibration set,the concentration range was 86~201mg·g-1,and 366 batches as validation set,the concentration range was 90~191mg·g-1.The root mean square error of cross validation(RMSECV) was 6.53 and R2=90.38,and root mean squar error of prediction(RMSEP) was 8.75 and R2=79.94.CONCLUSION The results show that the proposed method can be applied for fast detection of ascorbic acid in the VC Yinqiao pills.
