生长抑素与乳腺癌的研究进展

在过去的几年中，我们对人类肿瘤生长抑素受体（SSTR）的生物学和功能重要性的了解有了长足的进步。生长抑素类似物奥曲肽在肢端肥大症和良、恶性腺细胞肿瘤的患者中能成功地控制激素的高分泌，控制肿瘤的生长。生长抑素受体显像（SRS）使细胞表面表达SSTR的乳腺癌瘤体与奥曲肽结合后在体内的显现。对于进展期乳腺癌患者，他莫昔芬联合生长抑素及其类似物的临床结果并不优于单用他莫昔芬。作者就SSTR在乳腺癌发生发展中的作用进行综述。

Somatostatin and primary breast cancer

Over the past few years,significant progress has been made in our understanding of the biology and function of somatostatin receptors(SSTR) on human tumors.Somatostatin analogs,such as octreotide,successfully control hormone hypersecretion in patients with acromegaly,islet cell tumors,carcinoids,and control of tumor growth.Furthermore,SSTR2 on tumors can be imaged in vivo after the injection of radionuclide-coupled octreotide.The combination therapy with somatostatin analogs was better than tamoxifen alone on progression free survival temes or overall survival.We reviewed the effect of SSTR on the progress of primary breast cancer.
