右美托嘧啶与可乐定相比是一种高选择性的α2受体激动剂,具有镇静、镇痛、抗焦虑、交感神经阻滞等作用。近年来,大量研究发现其还具有改善危重症患者长期的脑保护作用,已被广泛应用于消除谵妄、调整睡眠结构、机械通气、减轻交感兴奋及炎性反应等诸多临床实践中。右美托嘧啶也是区域麻醉的一种有效辅助手段,在临床使用中的风险/效益值仍需关注。

Research Progress of Clinical Application of Dexmedetomidine

Compared to clonidine, dexmedetomidine is a highly selective α2-receptor agonist, which of_ fers many beneficial properties, characterized by sedation, analgesia, resistance to anxiety and sympatholysis. A large body of recent work supports its favorable prolile in improving long-term brain function in the critical illness. It has been widely used in attenuating delirium, adjusting sleep structure, ventilatory driving and decreasing sympathetic tone and inflammatory responses etc.. Dexmedetomidine may also be a valuable adjuvant when regional anaesthesia is used. The risk/benefit ratio when it is used in the clinical practice still needs further study.
