| Abstract: | Synthesis of azone was carried out from azacycloheptan-2-one and 1-bromododecane using KOH as condensation agent and PEG-400 as phase transfer catalytic agent. This method has the advantages of raw materials easily available,Safe and simple in operaton, shorter reaction time and higher yield than other methods. |
