Twin-Flex 美观卡环在可摘局部义齿中的临床应用

目的研究Twin-Flex卡环的临床应用效果,寻求一种可以用于修复前牙缺失,同时,可提供固位和美观的卡环. 方法采用问卷调查对112例患者Twin-Flex卡环修复后的效果进行研究,分别对整铸法和焊接法、Twin-Flex卡环和传统隙卡以及Twin-Flex卡环分别与树脂、金属基托联合应用后的临床效果进行对比;同时,观察半年和1年临床使用后基牙的牙周状况. 结果与传统卡环相比,Twin-Flex卡环的美观和固位效果较好;焊接法制作的卡环具有更好的弹性和固位性;与树脂基托联合应用也是一种较好的修复方式,同时可较好地维持基牙的牙周状况. 结论 Twin-Flex卡环成功地用于可摘局部义齿修复中,不仅提供良好的美观效果,同时易调改和重制,可不影响牙周健康.

Clinical application of Twin-Flex clasp in removable partial dentures

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Twin-Flex clasp fabricated by different techniques: one piece (casting with metal base) and two pieces (wrought wire soldering with metal base). The traditional circumferential and Twin-Flex clasp were compared to determine which one can achieve the patient satisfaction and to clarity the clinical use of Twin-Flex with resin plate. Methods 112 patients were divided into 3 groups and separately answered the different questionnaires when wearing the removable partial dentures after 3 weeks. According to the questionnaires results we compared the fabrication techniques and analyzed the advantage and problems in the clinical use of Twin-Flex clasp. The periodontal situation of the abutment were examined. Results Compared with one piece, Twin-Flex clasps fabricated by two pieces provided more retention and flexibility. The Twin-Flex clasps were able to provide proper retention and better esthetics than traditional circumferential clasps. The clinical use of Twin-Flex with resin plate was good prosthesis. Conclusion Twin-Flex clasp has good esthetics and can be readily adjusted or replaced. Moreover, it can maintain the periodontal health of the abutment.
