Study of Patient Satisfaction with Pituitary Adenoma under the Pattern of Clinical Pathway

ObjectiveStudy the change of patient satisfaction with pituitary adenoma after implementation of clinical pathway in order to provide decision-making reference to improve the pathway and medical quality,and also to build a harmonious relationship between the doctors and patients.MethodUse methods such as crosstabs,chi-square test and T test to analyze the difference between patient satisfaction before and after implementation of clinical pathway.ResultNo significant difference between admission process satisfaction,but significant difference between medical environment and facilities,medical services,treatment results,medical expenditure,informed consent and overall satisfaction before and after implementation of clinical pathway.ConclusionExcept the dimension of satisfaction with the process of admission,the health care environment facilities,medical services,treatment results,medical expenses,informed consent before and after clinical pathway patient satisfaction,and the overall satisfaction of pituitary adenoma surgery has improved significantly after implementation of clinical pathways.Medical institutions should promote customer satisfaction strategy actively and change the concept of health care timely to promote clinical pathway management.
