Application of multidisciplinary cooperative accelerated rehabilitation surgical nursing in laparoscopic renal cyst surgery

Objective To explore the application effect of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) concept in the perioperative nursing of patients with renal cyst undergoing laparoscopic surgery under the mode of multidisciplinary cooperation. Methods A total of 68 patients with renal cysts undergoing laparoscopic surgery admitted to our hospital from May 2019 to October 2020 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method, with 34 cases in each group. The control group received the routine nursing, and the observation group received the nursing intervention guided by EARS concept under multidisciplinary cooperation mode on the basis of the control group. The indexes of postoperative rehabilitation, postoperative pain, satisfaction degree and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After the operation, the time of first exhaust, first getting out of bed, removing urinary catheter, removing drainage tube and hospitalization in the observation group was (10.32±1.75) h, (1.63±0.58) d, (7.20±1.32) h, (12.07±2.66) h and (2.82±0.83) d, respectively, compared with (16.79±3.16) h, (2.79±0.46) d, (37.51±4.94) h, (51.36±10.87) h and (4.04±1.67) d in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (t=10.444, 9.137, 34.564, 20.472, 3.787, P<0.001). The visual analogue scale (VAS) scores of the observation group at 24 h and 48 h after the operation were (4.25±1.34) and (2.94±0.66) respectively, which were significantly different from those of the control group: (6.73±1.48) and (3.85±0.72) (t=7.243, 5.433, P<0.001). The satisfaction rate of the observation group was 100%, compared with 85.29% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (z=2.953, P=0.003). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.88%, compared with 17.65% in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant χ2=1.275, P=0.259). Conclusion Under the multidisciplinary cooperation mode, the application of ERAS concept in perioperative nursing of patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery for renal cyst is helpful to accelerate the process of postoperative rehabilitation, relieve pain, and improve nursing satisfaction.
