肥胖儿童体格发育指标与唾液性激素的相关性分析

摘    要:目的探讨肥胖儿童体格发育指标与唾液性激素的相关性及临床意义。 方法选取惠州市中心人民医院2018年5月至2021年5月行体检的肥胖儿童(肥胖组)和正常体质量指数(BMI)儿童(正常组)各40例,记录所有儿童的身高、体重、腰围、臀围、腹部皮褶厚度等发育指标,采用酶联免疫分析法(ELISA)测定所有儿童的唾液标本中睾酮、雌二醇的浓度,并分析各项发育指标与睾酮及雌二醇的相关性。 结果肥胖组男童的唾液睾酮水平显著低于对照组,而唾液雌二醇水平显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。肥胖组女童的唾液雌二醇水平显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。所有儿童唾液睾酮水平与身高成显著的正相关(P<0.05),与BMI、腰臀比、腰围和腹部皮褶厚度成显著的负相关(P<0.05);而肥胖男童唾液雌二醇水平与身高成显著的负相关(P<0.05),与BMI、腹部皮褶厚度成显著的正相关(P<0.05)。女童唾液雌二醇水平与身高成显著的负相关(P<0.05),与BMI、腰围成显著的正相关(P<0.05),与腰臀比、腹部皮褶厚度没有显著的相关性(P>0.05)。 结论肥胖男童唾液睾酮水平分泌下降,肥胖儿童唾液雌二醇水平分泌显著上升,唾液性激素水平与肥胖儿童的肥胖程度及机体发育密切相关。

Correlation analysis of physical development indexes and salivary sex hormones in obese children

Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation and clinical significance of physical development indicators and salivary sex hormones in obese children. Methods40 obese children (obesity group) and normal body mass index (BMI) children (normal group) who underwent physical examinations in our hospital from May 2018 to May 2021 were selected, and we recorded the height, weight, waist circumference, and waist circumference of all children, as well as developmental indicators such as hip circumference and abdominal skinfold thickness. Enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) was used to determine the concentration of testosterone and estradiol in saliva samples of all children, and to analyze the correlation between various developmental indicators and testosterone and estradiol. ResultsCompared with the control group, the level of salivary testosterone in obese children is significantly lower, while the level of salivary estradiol is significantly higher (P<0.05). The salivary estradiol levels of female children in the obese group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Salivary testosterone levels of all children were significantly positively correlated with height (P<0.05), and significantly negatively correlated with BMI, waist-to-hip ratio, waist circumference and abdominal skinfold thickness (P<0.05); while male children's saliva estradiol levels was a significant negative correlation with height (P<0.05), and a significant positive correlation with BMI and abdominal skinfold thickness (P<0.05). The salivary estradiol level of female children has a significant negative correlation with height (P<0.05), a significant positive correlation with BMI and waist circumference (P<0.05), and no significant correlation with waist-to-hip ratio and abdominal skinfold thickness (P>0.05). ConclusionsThe secretion of testosterone in saliva of obese children decreased, while the secretion of estradiol in saliva increased obviously. The level of salivary hormones was closely related to the degree of obesity and physical development of obese children.
