脑膜瘤雄激素受体表达与细胞增殖和临床病理的关系

目的　探讨脑膜瘤雄激素受体 (AR)表达与肿瘤细胞增殖和临床病理的关系。方法　采用SABC免疫组织化学方法检测 5 0例脑膜瘤组织中AR和增殖细胞核抗原 (PCNA)的表达 ,分析其与临床病理的关系。结果　良性、非典型性、恶性脑膜瘤组织中AR阳性表达率分别为 2 9 2 % (8/ 2 4 )、5 6 3% (9/ 16 )、80 0 % (8/ 10 )。恶性脑膜瘤AR阳性表达率显著高于非典型性和良性脑膜瘤 (P <0 0 5 )。AR阳性脑膜瘤PCNA标记指数 (LI)显著高于AR阴性脑膜瘤 (P <0 0 1) ,脑膜瘤AR表达与PCNA表达呈正相关。结论　AR过度表达与脑膜瘤细胞的异常增殖和病理级别有关 ,在脑膜瘤的发生发展过程中起重要作用

Correlation of Androgen Receptor Expression to Activity of Cell Proliferation and Clinicopathology in Meningiomas

Objective To explore the correlation of androgen receptor(AR) expression to the activity of cell proliferation and clinicopathology in meningiomas.Methods The expressions of AR and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) were determined by SABC immunohistochemical method in 50 cases of meningioma tissues.Correlation between AR expression with clinicopathological characteristics was studied.Results The positive rates of AR expression were 29.2%(8/24) in benign meningiomas,56.3%(9/16) in atypical meningiomas,80.0%(8/10)in malignant meningiomas,respectively.Malignant meningiomas had a significantly higher AR expression rate compared with atypical meningiomas and benign meningiomas (P<0.05).AR positive meningiomas had higher PCNA labeling index(LI) compared with AR negative meningiomas (P<0.01).The expression of AR in meningioma tissues was significantly related with PCNA.Conclusion The overexpressions of AR in meningiomas is related to high rate of cell proliferation and histological grated and may play an important role in the development of meningiomas.
