Abstract: | The spatial properties of carp horizontal cells were studied after intraocular injection of 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA). This treatment has been shown to destroy dopaminergic nerve terminals as well as decrease dopamine levels in the carp retina. The receptive field size of horizontal cells from retinas treated with 6-OHDA were found to be larger than those from control retinas. |
