大白鼠长期服用青蒿琥酯的安全性评估

目的 为给疫区人群长期服用青蒿琥酯的安全性提供实验依据。方法 大白鼠分别每周１次喂服１２０，６０，３０ｍｇ／ｋｇ的青蒿琥酯，连续６个月，于药中期（３个月），最后１次给药后１ｄ及停药后２周，对大白鼠的外观，一般症状，体重，血液学，血清生化学指标及病理学进行观察。结果 各实验组在服药前后的外观，体征，行为活动和粪便等均无明显异常，各项指标均在正常范围，各服药组与对照组比较无显著性差异；病理学检查未见异

SAFETY ASSESSMENT FOR LONG-TERM ORAL TREATMENT WITH ARTESUNATE IN RATS

Objective To provide a scientific basis for safety of artesunate which is widely used in epidemic regions of schistosomiasis Methods Rats ill 3 experimental experimental were treated orally with artesunate at tile dosage of 1 20. 60. and 30 mg,/kg once a week for G months. During the middle stage (3 months ), 1 day after last administration and 2 weeks after stopping administra tion, abnormalities in rats were observed. Results No drug- related physical signs were noted in any of the treated animals as compared wit h the control group. No treatment- related ocular lesions or changes in hematology or serum biochemical parameters were found during this study. There were no organ weight, gross. or microscopic changes attributed to the treatment. .As the all. there were no significant differences in the study groups compared with control control group (P> 0. 05 ). Conclusion it is very safety to use artesunate orally.
