Clinical Observation of Motional Needle Retention versus Consciousness Acupoint Treatment on Abomined Distension and Pain of Acute Pancreatitis

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the treatment of acute pancreatitis(AP)by the combination of"motional needle retention"and"consciousness acupoint treatment"and its impact on clinical symptoms,length of stay,and laboratory indexes of patients.Methods:A total of 63 acute pancreatitis patients were divided into the experiment group and the control group according to the random number table(31 patients in the experiment group and 32 patients in the control group).The routine symptomatic treatment of western medicine was given to the control group.On this basis,the combination of"motional needle retention"and"consciousness acupoint treatment"was used for the experiment group.The VAS score of abdominal pain,VAS score of abdominal distension,time of the disappearance of abdominal pain and distension,recovery time of bowel sound,time of the first time of defecation,time of the first time of eating,length of stay,TCM syndrome integral,and relevant laboratory indexes(serum amylase,calcium ions in serum,and CRP)of patients were compared before and after the treatment.Results:The VAS score of abdominal pain and VAS score of abdominal distension of the experiment group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The time of the disappearance of abdominal distension and pain,recovery time of bowel sound,time of the first time of defecation,time of the first time of eating,and length of stay of the experiment group were shorter than those of the control group,and the results had statistical differences(P<0.05);the content of serum amylase of the experiment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),the content of calcium ions in serum was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),the results of CRP had no obvious difference(P>0.05);and the TCM syndrome integral of the experiment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of"motional needle retention"and"consciousness acupoint treatment"can effectively and quickly relieve the abdominal distension and pain of AP,effectively improve the gastrointestinal motility,accelerate the recovery of the intestinal function,and effectively reduce the length of stay of AP patients.
