Clinical Observation of Xuanfei Huatan Tongluo Method on AECOPD Risk Window

Objective:To observe the effect of Xuanfei Huatan Tongluo method on patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)with a risk window of phlegm and stasis obstructing the lung.Methods:A total of 120 patients were divided into the observation group and control group,60 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional western medicine treatment,and the observation group was treated with the method of Xuanfei Huatan Tongluo on the basis of conventional treatment.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared,the scores of TCM syndromes,pulmonary function index levels,coagulation function indexes,and hemorheology indexes before and after treatment were compared,and the time to the first acute exacerbation and adverse reactions were recorded.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was93.33%,which was significantly higher than 75.00%of the control group(P<0.05);the observation group′s TCM syndrome scores and lung function index levels after treatment were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05);after treatment,the coagulation function indexes,whole blood high shear viscosity,whole blood low shear viscosity,and plasma viscosity indexes of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05);the occurrence time of the first acute exacerbation in observation group the was significantly longer than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Xuanfei Huatan Tongluo method can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with AECOPD risk window,improve lung function,and reduce the occurrence of prethrombotic state,so that patients can transition to the remission phase faster.
