| Abstract: | Plasmalogens, a subclass of glycerophospholipids are ubiquitous constituents of cellular membranes and serum lipoproteins. Comparing concentrations of plasmalogens in sera from patients suffering from ischemic cerebrovascular disease with serum levels in a normal population significantly lower values were found for patient sera. |
