Abstract:This article considers that the theory of traditional Chinese medicine based on the Chinese traditional cultural pattern of thought has a rich and vivid interpretation and application of analogical image thinking. Following the law of heaven and earth are considered to be the result of the survival of biological and human evolution. Analogical image thinking is a phenomenological method for achieving the goal of following the law of heaven and earth in Chinese medicine. Through the cross-cultural comparison between the east and west, many discoveries in modern western science also benefited from the analogy method. Although the analogical image thinking has the limitations of the times and lacks the experimental proof process after simplifying the complicated things, it still has a certain modern value. Analogical image thinking can promote cross-border discovery, help quickly explore methods for treating diseases, predict the properties of traditional Chinese medicine, guide clinical applications, and promote the formation of abstract theoretical hypotheses.
