Abstract: | Dentinogenesis imperfecta type II (DI-II) is an inherited mesodermal condition affecting the primary and permanent dentition. There is often cracking and loss of enamel and the subsequent rapid attrition of exposed dentin. This report presents a 14-year-old boy with DI-II, specifically with an unusual case of cracked bilateral maxillary and mandibular first molars. Fractures involved enamel, dentin, and cementum. |
