Allergic reaction to nanocolloid during lymphoscintigraphy for sentinel lymph node biopsy

Editor—We read with interest the case report by Stefanuttoand colleagues,¹ concerning an anaphylactic reaction to isosulphanblue dye during routine sentinel lymph node biopsy for breastsurgery. We agree that anaesthetists must be aware of the potentialserious risks of anaphylaxis in this group of patients. However,this is not a new finding; anaphylaxis to the blue
